Get Your Students Reasoning Scientifically




It is generally safe to assume that Physics teachers seek to open up the world of physics to their students. But as science teachers, it is also the hope of a physics teacher to train their students how to reason scientifically. Scientific reasoning includes a variety of traits that pertain to the ability to understand the scientific process, to interpret scientific findings, to analyze scientific data and suggest appropriate conclusions, etc. The Physics Classroom has provided an entire section to help teachers guide students towards becoming more adept at reasoning scientifically.
